The SST4500 IEM stereo transmitter combines all the features required for professional in-ear monitoring in a single, compact device. The SST4500 IEM allows the input signal to be processed individually to meet the requirements of both the artist and the sound system environment. An integrated dbx compressor, many equalizer settings, and optimized binaural room simulation algorithms provide outstanding high performance signal processing flexibility.
The patented digital MPX audio signal generation allows the SST4500 IEM transmitter to support the receiver with premium sound performance. IVM4500 IEM supports the actor with a clear and transparent sound and an ultra linear frequency response. Even loud audio is transmitted.
Preprogrammed frequency preset banks support TV channels and ensure an easy and reliable system setup. Up to 14 intermodulation-free channels* can be used within a 30 MHz wide UHF band. In addition, up to 1200 frequencies can be selected manually.
The SST4500 IEM transmitter lets you adjust the RF output within the approved range, which is particularly important when the in-ear monitor system is used together with a complex wireless microphone system. This allows optimum system matching for improved reliability.
A large, backlit display gives a clear picture of all important settings and levels. When used in dark environments, the brightness of the display can be reduced.
The input signal level is digitally adjustable within a range of ±20 dB. A pair of Loop Out jacks carries the unprocessed input signal for daisy-chaining several SST4500 IEMs.
A complete line of accessories and antennas are available for multichannel applications.
Additionally, the SST4500 allows to set up a stationary wireless high-end mono transmission with the SR4500 wireless receiver, so that a wireless connection of 1000 ft. and more can be easily realized.
HiQnet® - System Architect
With the optional HUB4000 Q, AKG wireless systems can be integrated into a HiQnet® system. The wireless system can be remote-controlled and monitored with the Harman software System Architect™ (from a PC) or the AKG Wireless iPhone App (from an iPhone/iPod touch/iPad). The setup and configuration of the frequency management of a multichannel wireless system is incredibly easy within the System Architect™ with tools like 1 Click Setup, RF Monitor, Device Manager and Environment Scan.
