Designed for the human ear: there are
countless design benefits from Microsonic's experience in the hearing
industry. The size, shape and physical characteristics of each earpiece
are based on half a century of ongoing experience and research.
Sound
isolation: our product provides a minimum of 25 decibels of sound
attenuation, and depending on the individual considerably more. Many
products claim very high levels of isolation, but the human is quite
variable in shape. Our silicone flanges (the part that contacts the
ear) are of an advanced design, permitting greater life, comfort,
isolation and cleanliness.
Hearing protection: the isolation
provided also has the considerable benefit to protect the user's
hearing. With this in mind the user can hear the desired program
material with a minimum of external interferences, and most importantly
in noisy or high SPL environments, like on stage, the user's hearing is
protected.
Single balanced armature technology: balanced
armature transducers, make the sound crisp, clear and undistorted, for
an extremely pure listening experience. Low cost models use a dynamic
driver that while inexpensive has high distortion characteristics.
Transportable: the sub-compact design allows for more freedom and versatility than stage monitors - carry them, don't ship them!
Freedom to move: no need to stand in front of a stage monitor to hear yourself.
Swivel
nozzle: using patented technology, we offer the best fit in the
industry; the EPIC� series monitors are more comfortable than any other
music monitor earbud, headphones or earplugs. The swiveling nozzle
feature offers similar characteristics of the more expensive custom
molds.
Removable cable: this feature usually found iin only
very high end products is offered as standard in Microsonic products.
The removable cable also allows the cable to be removed and replaced
for years of use from your Microsonic product instead of having to
replace the entire unit.
Single, dual and triple drivers: while
the selection of a quality driver is critical, the physical factors of
size, shape and directionality offered by the design are often more
important than the number of drivers. Simply stated if the physical fit
is not correct then models using many drivers will not provide a good
listening experience. This is why the science and expertise of
