| The Arena HighLine 500c is designed primarily as a premium
performance low profile, full range loudspeaker for use in
conjunction with Plasma or LCD flat screens. The supplied bracket
system and cable management ensure a close to wall mounting and a
visual effect that blends with the décor; important in
high style installations such as lounges, bars, hotels and
boardrooms.
The HighLine 500c can be used as left, right and centre around
the screen, while low frequency reinforcement can be provided by
adding the Tannoy V Series VS10 BP subwoofer in conjunction with
the TDX1 electronic system controller.
Features
The frequency response is 83Hz to 62kHz (-10dB from rated
sensitivity, measured on axis in an anechoic chamber) with no
equalization. Sensitivity is 88.5dB at 1W @ 1metre (1W = 2.83V
for 8 Ohms) and long-term power handling capacity (as defined in
EIA-426B test) is 75W, while the recommended amplifier power is
150W. The nominal system impedance is 8 Ohms.
For maximum acoustic integrity of the drive units the already
robust, thick walled aluminium extruded cabinet is further
internally braced, with Tannoy DMT™ (Differential Material
Technology), at strategic points throughout its length to
minimise any cabinet resonance; this to ensure fully optimised
reproduction.
Highline 500c is lavishly finished in high
gloss silver or black and supplied with flush mounting
hardware as standard. Optional accessory hardware includes a
floor stand or table mount.
