The Tannoy Ellipse 8 iDP monitor could revolutionize the way you listen to music! This incredible system features cutting-edge enclosure design - for the ultimate in neutral cabinets - housing an 8" low frequency driver, a high frequency dome tweeter with 150 watts of power, and Tannoy's unique SuperTweeter, with frequency response up to 50kHz!

IDP for an incredibly configurable system
Tannoy and TC Electronic joined forces to create iDP™ (Interactive Digital Programming), a DSP-driven system that gives you unprecedented control over your monitoring environment. iDP allows you to tune your system to match your specific physical space. Preset storage / recall and total acoustic alignment flexibility are all executed with ultimate precision via remote control.

Dual Concentric™ drivers for accurate sound
The Ellipse 8 features Tannoy's advanced Dual Concentric low- and high-frequency driver design that mounts both drivers on the same axis and plane, resulting in more precise transients and percussive attacks. The top-mounted SuperTweeter is time aligned with these drivers for even greater accuracy and realism.
