FREQAL-IZER is a powerful EQ plug-in from Roger
Nichols Digital, founded by producer, recording-engineer, and 7-time Grammy
winner Roger Nichols, whose resume includes producer and engineer for the
critically acclaimed group, Steely Dan as well as artists ranging from Joe
Cocker, Al DiMeola, and Bela Fleck to Al Jarreau, Mark Knopfler, and Frank
Sinatra. A former nuclear engineer-turned recording engineer, Nichols vast
technical knowledge includes development of one of the first commercially
available sampling drum machines, consulting with Yamaha on the development of
automation for the 02R digital console, and while digital recorders were still
only 16-bit, Roger designed a 24-bit splitter device (Paq Rat) for Rane. See

response of one audio source and apply it to another for technical adjustment or

Use FREQUAL-IZER's 50 States
to store EQs for instant recall or automation. Add, delete, copy, and move the
EQ states you create or have FREQUAL-IZER intelligently "fill" empty states,
morphing between selected EQs. Working with States is a snap when you use the
States Overview to visualize all 50 available states. A comprehensive history
and two workspaces allow you to easily compare and contrast different EQs. Edit
each channel individually or choose from four linking modes to designate how
changes to one channel will affect the other. Scale, smooth, or sweep your
entire EQ curve. Boost or cut your signal by +/- 18 dB. Customize the spectral
display to only show what is of interest to you.
