The MP-15Q MP-20Q (15A), provide a pair of remotely-activated, relay-controlled NEMA 5-15 outlets,
set up for mounting in any standard electrical Quad Box.
They will mount directly to the quad box or to an attached mud ring. Due to the quad box space limitations, these models need to have an external power supply in order to operate. A maintained 10-30VDC supply capable of supplying 100 mA or more is required to turn on the outlets. This can be supplied by a Furman PowerLink, ASD-120, or PS-8R (with a simple internal modification to the PS-8R). Also, please note that the MP-20 is only supplied with NEMA 5-15 receptacles, due to the unavailability of a snap-in type 20A receptacle. It's internal wiring is appropriately rated for 20A, however. UL, C-UL pending.
