The Lifeline
Connect the Magma expansion system to your
computer through the our PCI host interface card. Magma patented PCI Expansion
Tecnology extends the PCI bus through a 1 or 1.5 meter expansion cable. The
cable provides a high-speed communication link between your computer and our PCI
Expansion System.
Univeral PCI host interface
card
Works in computers that use
either 5 volt or 3.3 volt signaling. A low-profile version of the PCI host card
is available for computers with half-height PCI slots.
Multiple Power Options
A
400W power supply provides plenty of power for seven PCI cards. A redundant,
hot-swappable power supply is optional for high-availability applications.

Cooling fans provide optimal cooling to your cards and disk
drives within the ventilated enclosure.

PCI-to-PCI Expansion System is simple:
Any PCI-based host computer or server with at least
one the following slots:
- 32-bit/33MHz PCI slot
- 64-bit/33MHz PCI slot
- 64-bit/66MHz PCI slot
- PCI-X PCI slot
The PCI expansion system can perform as fast as the
host slot up to 32-bit/33MHz PCI Bus speed (132MB/sec).
