The Fast Track Pro
gives you the I/O flexibility to record voices, acoustic instruments, guitars,
keyboards, and more! It offers two front-panel mic/line inputs complete with
phantom power for condenser microphones. The Fast Track Pro also provides
balanced and unbalanced analog outputs, inserts for outboard effects, and S/PDIF
digital I/O. With its built-in MIDI I/O the Fast TRack Pro eliminates the need
for a separate MIDI interface.
Near-zero-latency direct hardware
monitoring plus PC and Mac compatibility
The M-Audio Fast Track Pro also
features near-zero latency direct hardware monitoring and low-latency ASIO
software monitoring, plus an A/B source switch and dual output pairs for
DJ-style cueing. The Fast Track Pro continues M-Audio's long history of
rock-solid driver support and is compatible with most popular PC and Mac music
software. USB connection and bus power along with class-compliancy for Mac OS X
make it a breeze to set up.
Bundled Live Lite 4 and GT Express
software
The Fast Track Pro helps you get started making music
immediately with the included Ableton Live Lite 4 and GT Player Express software
for recording, mixing and jamming. Live Lite 4 is a special version of the
popular real-time groove creation, sample playback, and loop software. GT Player
Express is a real-time standalone application allowing to use your computer at
studio or on the stage as powerful guitar multi effect processor. It offers
ReWire support, for connecting to ReWire applications such as Live or Reason.
Track Recording support allows recording of the processed or clean sound.
Recorded tracks are automatically added to the current playlist. GT Player is
functional as a VST plug-in which can be used in all VST host applications such
as Nuendo, Cubase, Live, DSP Quattro, Spark, etc. With Keyboard Transpose, MIDI
notes can be triggered from your computer keyboard with transpose
capability.
