The XB1-A is a sub bass system and has two key areas in which it excels. Firstly it can be used with an external amplifier as a dedicated monitor for .1-channel information within a highly critical surround monitoring system. This configuration has seen great success in the field of DVD authoring. The second combination, which is found in many of the leading broadcasters, is to combine the XB1-A with Bryston active electronics and the LB1 'Classic' nearfield monitor. With the XB1-A placed out of sight it provides a compact system with exceptional levels of quality and high levels of spl.

  • Die cast 250mm dual voice coil driver with double suspension, symmetrical magnetic field & extended pole for maximum linearity
  • Useable frequency range of 25Hz - 200Hz
  • Shallow cabinet. Ideal for under desk placement
  • XB1-A can be mounted vertically or horizontally
  • Effective line length of 2.4m (8ft.)
  • High power handling
  • Recommended amp power up to 200W
