The Stereo Vitalizer represents the second generation of the Vitalizer program equaliser range, all of which profit from quality improvements and more extensive means of sound processing.

The drive control permits optimal input level adjustment, and the bass compressor aids in controlling the bass level, which might otherwise increase dramatically with heavy processing. The top end and harmonics filtering is now independent of the bass and mid tone filtering and can hence be applied more specifically.

Apart from its applications in the mastering field, the Stereo Vitalizer MK2 is also extremely effective during mixing. A stereo-send insertion enlivens guitar chords, choral lines or even flat tom signals.

The Stereo Expander goes beond panning controls to provide real benefits in spatial separation: synth pads for example can be effectively yet subtly integrated into the sound without masking other instruments in the same frequency ranges.
