The system features an ATI® RADEON X1300 PCI-e graphics board with 256MB and Dual Monitor Support. We can custom configure your system with one of several NVIDIA Quadra Series graphic boards to meet more demanding requirements, including boards with support for up to four monitors.

ADS Firewire 800

Firewire 800 provides twice as much speed as 400, and is ideal for high-speed storage and video capture solutions. It reduces data delays on the bus and signal distortion for increased throughput. Pro Tools 7 will increase plug-in counts up to 150% on the dual processing computers. Engineered to Stay Cool & Quiet

The MX2-R is engineered to stay cool and quiet. We use heat-pipe vibration reducing housings for each hard drive, low-noise heat-sink fans for the processors, whisper quiet chassis fans and a low-noise full range power supply. We also use special noise reducing padding inside the chassis.

Solid Upgrade Path

The MX2-R is fully upgradeable and enables a user to add up to 32GB of DDR II memory, a range of Dual and Quad Core processor speeds, and additional PCI cards. The motherboard can also be upgraded to accommodate newer motherboard technologies when they are approved by Digidesign.

VMobility™ Remote Support
