The NT5 matched pairs are a masterpiece of small-diaphragm cardioid-condenser microphone design.

Intended for recording acoustic instruments, drum overheads, cymbals and live performances, the compact externally polarized mic employs a 1/2" capsule, an active J-FET impedance converter with bipolar output buffer.

Finished in durable satin nickel, the NT5 is intended for either single or stereo X/Y mic set-ups.
The NT5 matched pairs come supplied in a custom carry case with windshields and mounts.

The NT5 from Rode is a matched pair of small diaphragm microphones featuring full frequency response and low-noise output circuitry. Designed for general instrument recording and sound reinforcement.

The cardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes audio at the off-axis sections, reducing noise caused by, leakage, monitors, additional instruments etc. The NT5 offers a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz allowing the microphones to be used in a wide variety of applications such as drum over-head miking, stereo capturing of instruments, vocal capturing etc. The NT5 is powered via +24V or +48V phantom power. The package includes dual windscreens and stand mounts in a durable road case.

Cardioid Pattern: The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing of-axis noise due to leakage, additional instruments, room ambiance etc.

Wide Frequency Response: The NT5 features a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz allowing the flexibility to capture accurately in any recording or sound reinforcement scenario.
