This application provides a multitude of professional time stretching and pitch shifting algorithms for sound design, frame-per-second conversion, mastering and Karaoke applications.

Zynaptiq TimeFactory 2 allows changing the speed and pitch of your sound files or entire songs independently of each other over a wide range of stretch ratios. It takes time stretching and pitch shifting to the next level by giving you unique and unparalleled control over all aspects of your sound files.

TimeFactory 2 is the only application that combines all leading time stretching algorithms used in the major audio editing applications at this time, giving you access to the latest in technology from one single user interface. No need to buy dozens of programs – you get them all in just one application.

File Format Support and Surround Processing:
Version 2 supports all popular file formats including Broadcast Wave Files (BWF) and offers 5.1, 6.1 and even N.1 surround sound processing in perfect phase sync – converting between different frame rates for film and TV has never been easier! What’s more, you can decode and combine an unlimited number of files into one multichannel file which you can then process and export. TimeFactory 2 supports all popular word lengths up to 32-bit and sample rates as high as 384kHz and can directly import tracks from your iTunes library.

Formant Processing
In addition to changing speed and pitch of audio files independently, TimeFactory lets you customize formants as well, thereby avoiding the “munchkinization” effect when changing the pitch of voice. This is also a great option to tweak sounds for sound design, or for creating two different voices from the same speaker.

MPEX Processing
TimeFactory makes use of the latest version of Zynaptiq's MPEX which is the industry standard for high fidelity time stretching and pitch shifting. The latest version has been tremendously improved in both quality and speed of processing. Almost every major digital audio workstation or audio application on the Mac and PC uses MPEX to achieve high quality, crystal-clear audio time stretching.
