Especially designed and built for vocal onstage performances, the d:facto™ microphone series from DPA Microphones features a supercardioid capsule that is engineered to reproduce every nuance of the human voice in a transparent, consistent, and thrilling fashion. The d:facto handheld microphones' supercardioid mic head can be used with various manufacturer systems, employing original DPA adapters (additional adapters sold separately). This particular model [4018V-B-B01] features a Supercardioid polar pickup pattern with pre-programmed high-end 3 dB soft boost at 12 kHz for added high-end emphasis, and comes with the state-of-the-art d:facto™ Handle, terminated with an industry-standard XLR adapter. With unsurpassed capsule quality, 3-stage pop protection grid, matched shock mounting, and electronics handling high voltage from the capsule; the d:facto sounds extremely dynamic and distinct.

The flexibility of its adapter system gives the user simple and very affordable possibilities of choosing either a wired DPA handle or the professional wireless system of their choosing, with no loss in the sound quality.
