"TWINCOM" Two channel vacuum tube opto-compressor/limiter -and- two channel solid state opto-compressor/limiter in the same chassis; selectable via the push of a button. Offers pristine musical accuracy via pure Class-A all discrete FET amplifiers -or- enhanced euphonic character via pure Class-A vacuum tube amplifiers. Opto-electronic gain reduction with Attack ballistics of 2 mS to 80 mS, Compression Ratio of 1.4 : 1 to 30:1, and Release Time of 30 mS to 3.0 sec. Large illuminated side-by-side Sifam true audio level meters are centrally located. Illuminated switches select channel in/out, stereo link, meter GR/VU select, and Twin Topology. Entirely transformerless, entirely balanced signal path on both topologies front to back. "Quasi-Mastering" option (all-detented controls) available. Standard gloss black cosmetic. Unique platinum-crackle cosmetic option available.
