Rane Commercial RAD22 Overview

The Rane Commercial RAD22 is a universal wall RAD offering two channels of analog I/O for an existing Rane DSP system. With two XLR-1/4" TRS auto-switching mic/line combo inputs, a 3.5mm TRS line/headphone output, and an RJ45 port, it conveniently interfaces your analog equipment with Rane's RAD family.

Smart muting let you hot-swap inputs without having to mute the sound system, and isolation circuitry prevents hum for a clean, low-noise signal line. The 24-bit / 48 kHz codec delivers high-quality digital audio to your Rane multiprocessor. The RAD22 includes installation hardware and may be mounted to a two-gang electrical box or available wall surface.

Dual XLR-1/4" combo jack inputs with 24 VDC phantom power and auto-switching for mic- or line-level inputs
Smart muting enables hot-swapping of inputs without sound system disruption
3.5mm TRS line output for recording, monitoring with headphones, and live sound amplification
RJ45 connection to your existing Rane multiprocessor via Cat5e or better cable for a local run up to 500' away from your equipment rack
Isolation circuitry prevents hum due to long cable runs with ground differentials
Improved 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio codec for superior audio transmission
Supports installation onto a standard U.S. two-gang electrical box, or flush-mounted to a wall surface
Completes the Rane RAD family and complements the RAD16z (available separately)
