| Specially priced bundle which includes the SV315 Compressor,
SV517 Equalizer, and SV719 Analogue Gate
SV517 Equalizer
The Sonalksis SV-517 Equaliser Plug-in is a 6 band tonal
equaliser developed for professional audio sound sculpting. It
employs unique design methods to provide a tone control with true
‘Analogue’ characteristics, whilst offering
flexibility that can only be provided by a digital processor.
The SV-517 EQ is the first in a new range of products from
Sonalksis that use innovative 'State-Space' technology.
It was developed by a team of engineers that have many years
experience designing professional audio systems for respected
industry leaders.
Applications
Whether you need to give some air to a vocal, sweeten an
entire mix, or equalise a dialogue track, the Sonalksis SV-517 EQ
will be equally at home in each environment. The various styles
of filter on offer model many classic and contemporary analogue
responses, so it is simply a matter of selecting the appropriate
style for your programme material.
Features
- 6 filter bands; 2 variable slope filters and 4 parametric
bands, of which 2 are switchable shelves
- Sonalksis 'State-space' system model for true
analogue response
- Multiple parametric equaliser types inclucing classic
models
- Multiple styles of resonant shelf
- 64bit floating point precision internal processing
throughout
- Up to 192 kHz support
- Ultra efficient processing, with specific optimisations for
native processors
- Glitchless transitions when switching bands in and out
- Graphical feedback display
- One control per function user-interface
SV315 Compressor
In keeping with the other plug-ins in the 'SV' series,
the SV-315 Compressor employs physical modelling technology to
provide a classic compressor/limiter with true analogue
characteristics, but offers a flexibility that can only be
obtained from a digital processor.
The SV-315 Compressor was developed with Sonalksis
'State-Space' technology, by a team of engineers that
have many years experience designing pro-audio systems for
established industry leaders.
Applications
Due to its flexibility, the SV-315 is suitable both for
tracking and mastering environments, and imparts character and
warmth on programme material through its essentially analogue
design. So whether you want to gently smooth a vocal, totally
crush some drums, or compress an entire mix, this processor will
do it with superior polish.
Features
- Independent compressor and limiter models
- Sonalksis 'State-space' physical model design for
true analogue response
- Multiple switchable circuit model parameters provide flexible
character
- Zero latency throughput [just like a true analogue
compressor]
- Anti-Breathe mechanism [prevents sharp 'clicky'
attack after a pause]
- 64bit floating point precision internal processing
throughout
- Up to 192 kHz support
- Ultra efficient processing, with specific optimisations for
native processors
- Glitchless switch transitions [e.g. limiter in/out, bypass
on/off]
- Graphical display indicators provide detailed feedback on
response settings
SV719 Analogue Gate
As part of the 'SV' range of products from Sonalksis,
the SV-719 Gate follows a design philosophy that aims to maintain
the sonic aesthetic of traditional analogue processing. In order
to achieve this, the SV-719 uses a sophisticated
'state-space' modelling technology. This enables analogue
signal path characteristics to be captured in a digital
design.
Applications
While a gate is a relatively simple process to implement
digitally, the typical analogue gate imparts a subtle character
that ubiquitous digital implementations lack. The SV-719
intimately models the characteristics of a real analogue
processor to capture the nuances of an analogue gate, so whether
you are after a classic gated drum effect, or are trying to tame
a bass line, the SV-719 will give noticeably more traditional
results.
Features
The SV-719 is the most extensively featured gate/expander
available. Aside from all the standard gate parameters, the
SV-719 features external side-chain inputs, multiple band
side-chain filtering, midi triggering capability, and independent
left/right channel triggering possibilities. In addition, a
hybrid analogue/digital signal chain path allows look-ahead
processing if required.
- Separate gate and expander models, with soft or hard-knee
expansion capability
- Ducking capability - a mechanism often used in voiceover
production, but which can also be used creatively for example to
de-emphasize effects which might cloud a mix when there's too
much going on.
- Zero latency throughput - enables the gate to be used in the
monitor path for tracking situations
- Sonalksis 'State-space' physical model design for
true analogue response
- 64bit floating point precision internal processing
throughout
- Support for sampling rates of up to 192 kHz
- Ultra efficient processing, with specific optimisations for
all native processors
