The EQ SITRAL-295 features a beautifully simple EQ module with four main controls including low-shelf gain, high-shelf gain, and the distinct Präsenz bell filter frequency and gain. There is also a high-pass filter based on the Sitral W293 module, which has a gentle slope with a cut off range from 20 to 320 Hz, while the low-pass filter based on the W294 module provides a smooth pumping low pass from 22 kHz down to 1400 Hz. Whatever EQ settings you use, you'll find that it retains clarity, character, and will impart subtle transistor distortion for a bubbly sound that remains full of musicality and depth.

Other notable features include mid/side processing, allowing you to tweak the middle and sides of your mix separately and the Range knob, which attenuates the effect’s overall response proportionally. The Charakter selector provides an alternative mode, which offers an overall contemporary sound with a touch more crunch and compression. A built-in spectrum analyzer provides color-coded EQ curves in real-time. The knobs are stepped by default, which allows you to quickly dial in your sound. However, should you wish a more precise approach, a continuous mode allows you to mix between the lines for the finest detail.
